Weekends at Vale – Join us on Saturday, May 18 for Bingo night at Vale, from 6:30 until 8:00. Fun, fellowship, and prizes!

Yard Sale – The Vale Yard Sale is coming up! On Saturday, June 1, come find bargains on clothes, toys, electronics, books, household items, kitchenware, upscale boutique items, and more! If you have been hoarding, or just want to spring clean, we will begin accepting donations starting on May 27. If you are interested in volunteering, either to help sort and price the items during the week or during the sale on Saturday, contact Bob Lacy at robertklacy@gmail.com

Lost and Found Clearing – Any items left in the lost and found by May 27 will be donated to the yard sale. Please check if you have misplaced any water bottles, glasses cases, gloves, etc.

Vale VBS – Vacation Bible School will take place July 30 – August 1 from 9:30-11:30 am. Please register to attend here, and invite your friends and neighbors! If you would like to serve and be part of the team providing spiritual growth for children, talk to Miracle or email her at valedcym@gmail.com

Grant Writer Wanted – Do you have experience writing grants? We have a few opportunities to apply for grants, and we would like to put our best effort forward! If you would like to help, please contact Pastor Jeff at pastor@valechurch.org

Highroad – Camp Highroad is our District camp out in Middleburg. We’ve had many retreats and other activities there. They are looking for some help on their next volunteer day for Saturday, May 18th. The camp will be full of groups that weekend, so we will select projects that will not interfere with those ongoing programs. We welcome groups or individuals for this day of service. Here is the registration and skills assessment link. Even if you have signed up previously and registered your skills, please do so again, so that we can align skills with projects for the May 18th volunteers

Youth Group – The next youth group meeting will be on May 26, 5-7 pm in the youth basement. Any youth currently in 6th through 12th grade is invited to join, and friends are welcome too! We will spend time in fellowship, study, worship and service over the course of our time together. If you have questions, contact Miracle at valedcym@gmail.com.

Preschool Registration – Vale UMC Preschool registration for Fall 2024 is now open to all families. Registration will open to new families on January 18, 2024. Please tell your friends, family and neighbors to come register! See the preschool bulletin board across from the preschool classrooms for registration forms, email Diane Willard at preschool@valechurch.org, or check our Preschool page for information.

Sunday School Help Wanted – Are you interested in working with Vale’s children? We are always looking for volunteers who are willing to spend an hour on their Sunday mornings to help teach our Children’s Sunday School class. Materials and curriculum are provided. If you are interested, please contact the office at office@valechurch.org or Miracle Ryder at ChristianEd@valechurch.org.

Worship Services: We currently offer a virtual service at 8:30 am, and one in person service at 10:00 a.m. in the sanctuary
