Book Club
The Vale Book Club meets the second Tuesday of each month, September
through June at 10:00 a.m. in the Resource Room. During our first meeting,
we share our summer reading, develop a reading list for the coming year,
and enjoy refreshments and fellowship. Each year our group has gotten
larger and our book selections have become more diversified. The Book
Club is open to church members and the community. We invite you and
your friends to join us.
Questions? call Mary Morran at 540-349-4619 or mmorran@netzero.net

Bowling League
The Vale Church Bowling League consists of 4-member teams made up of
singles, couples, and families. Bowlers must be at least 12 years old
and do not have to attend Vale Church-friends, neighbors, and coworkers
are welcome. It is a handicapped league, so teams/team members with
lower averages can still compete and win! The league meets every Friday
for 20 weeks, starting the first Friday in the new year and ending just
before Memorial Day. If your family wants to have more quality time
together, you want to meet other church members, or you are just looking
for an enjoyable way to start your weekend, then this league is for
you. Please consider joining us Friday nights for fun and fellowship.
Contact John Potts (703-620-9293), Bill Skey (703-620-2947), or Bill
DuBois (703-620-2448) for more information.

The coffee fellowship after the 10:00 am service is in fellowship hall
and includes juice and snacks for children.
All coffee served at the coffee hour is Guatemalan coffee from Equal
Exchange, a fair trade organization. A one pound bag of whole or ground

hour.
